City Courtyard – Ilkka Oyj – LED-screen

We renovated the old LED screen at the end of Citypiha shopping center in Seinäjoki. Our client Ilkka Oyj wanted a new functional display surface for the familiar spot. The high-quality LED screen is visible immediately when arriving from the train station or along Valtionkatu, making it an excellent platform for effective communication, as the city’s most important businesses and services are prominently displayed, including to travelers.

Customized LED Screen

The massive 34m² display surface uses automatic brightness adjustment, ensuring the screen’s brightness is always perfect relative to the ambient light. The screen displays content contrast and colors remarkably accurately, even in direct sunlight. Thanks to the automatic brightness adjustment, Citypiha also saves significantly on electricity consumption during the darkest times of the year when the screen’s brightness is low. The gaps between the LED lights, or pixels, are 8mm apart (P8). The pixel pitch is important for considering the screen’s viewing distance. Typically, outdoor LED screens range from P6 to P16. Larger pixel pitch also reduces device costs since there are relatively fewer LED lights.

Citypiha – Curved LED Screen

The LED screen at the end of Citypiha is equipped with a curved display surface, as the existing frame required unique design. This feature enhances the screen’s visibility as it can also be viewed from the side. A seamless entirety was achieved through extensive experience and professionalism.

The content management of Citypiha’s LED screen is possible through our remotely updateable software. Ledimediacloud is a content management service developed by our company. The service is designed to be user-friendly for the busy entrepreneur.
